Kidzone School was started in the year 2004 by Pahar Foundation with just two students and one teacher.
Kidzone accepts students from two years of age through Kindergarten. Our entire program, facility and staff are held to the highest standards of excellence in order to give your child the best care and learning experience in a prestigious, secure and well maintained environment. Our children are only young once, and we know that we have only one opportunity to prepare them to be all they can be. We take your child’s well being and advancement very serious!

Now we have also started Primary Section and are very sure that very soon our primary section will also become the best Primary School of the city.

Kidzone provides a good blend of CBSE/NCERT Syllabus taught using Activity based learning. Till class 5 the syllabus used for all students is the CBSE / NCERT syllabus but the teaching methodology, the assessments, the activity based learning, the teachers lesson plans and their training activity based.

KIDZONE with colourful, attractive and well – concepted surrounding is really a child's dreamland. Our Montessory Wing provides specially designed rich learning material and scope for creative activities such as Reading, Painting, Story Telling, Dressing-Up, Make-believe Games, Scribbing Boards, Jumbles, Jigsaws, Building Blocks, Finger Painting, Clay Modelling, Paper Tearing, Folding and Pasting etc. Role – playing games in the Doll House which help the child in understanding people in different phases of life. He also expresses his imagination and aspirations for the future. The basic concepts of numbers and mathematical understanding etc. are developed through experience of buying and selling in the Arcade Shop. The use of modern audio-visual aids such as T.V. D.V.D. player, etc. build up interest and make learning easy.
Outdoor Play-Pen includes swings, slides, jungle gym, bouncy, and a variety of climbers and other equipment. Through the use of appropriate apparatus, children develop their co-ordination skills required to play more organized games when they are older. Sand pit, water pool, tunnels, occasional elephant/horse rides, magic show, monkey shows, puppet shows, and intimacy with animals & birds develop confidence among children.

Primary Wing
Primary wing caters to both curricular and co-curricular needs of the children. Our academic session is divided into three terms. To inculcate healthy competition and help the children to cope up with the fear of examination, the Primary wing has adopted the grading system. All children getting A+ in all subjects in all the three terms are awarded.
To teach regularity and punctuality, Primary wing stresses on 100% attendance. Children with 100% attendance are awarded in the Annual Prize Distribution function.
Discipline
Discipline is the back-bone for building good character, personality and all the values in one's life. It is not a set rigidly enforced mandates, but a process in which the child learns to become a social being. Here at KIDZONE we try to teach the child in positive ways. We keep in mind the following while working with young children.
* We respect the children as individuals. We listen to their needs, respect their feelings and offer strength to a child in conflict by being non-judgmental.
* We model the behavior we want to teach.
* We use natural consequences to put the responsibility on the child, and to teach him/her about making decisions. Once a consequence has been established, a child knows what to anticipate when making a choice.
* We accept the child's feelings as being neither right nor wrong. We do not always accept the behavior that goes along with the feelings, We are authentic in stating our feelings about the situation.We tell the children what we do want rather than what we do not want. This clarifies expectations.
* We try to have a positive approach to discipline. We let the child know what is acceptable when they are doing something that is not acceptable.
* We give children the opportunity to, and the praise for, working things out themselves. We try to act as facilitators, and give guidance as needed.
* We encourage children to "use their words" in conflicting situations.
Working on all of the above skills takes care of most of the difficult behaviors that take place between children at the School. We do no allow children to hurt either themselves or other children. Some children need firmer discipline than others and if a child does not respond to the above treatment we may need to do the following.
* We do not allow corporal punishment of any kind. We do not ridicule or emotionally punish children for behavior problems.
* If the child is out of control. the child would be removed from the situation where they might hurt another child or themselves, to a safe location. A staff member would stay with the child at all times until he/she had calmed down and could be returned to the group.
* If a child was displaying extreme behavior problems, a dangerous behavior, the staff would confer with the parents and work out an individual discipline plan for that child. This might include the child being sent home if and when the behavior manifest again. If the behavior is ongoing we might suggest the child be evaluated and solicit help from the agency as to the best way to proceed with this child to be able to keep him/her in the program.
* Biting is within the normal range of behavior for preschoolers. We will deal with these situations as they arise on an individual basis.
